About Dr. Zed
Meet Dr. Zed
Dr. Zachariah Seiden — known to students as Dr. Zed — is an engineer, educator, strategist, and Harvard alumnus. He founded Education Encompassed in 2016 after seeing families make life-altering decisions without clear direction. As Founder and President, he also serves as a lead review expert for essays, theses, dissertations, cover letters, and resumes.
He has built a nationwide education planning system through Education Encompassed, guided over 1,000 students toward clear academic and career direction, and trained hundreds of advisors in strategy-first consulting. In addition, he is a university instructor, published author, and licensed professional engineer.
